Using the Nike Terminator as their platform, Nike & “Slim & Husky’s Pizza” collaborated w/ each other to create this iconic, timeless, one-of-a-kind high-top sneaker celebrating Tennessee State University. A long-time campus favorite, Slim & Husky’s Pizza began by opening their first restaurant near TSU campus & was opened by two TSU alumni.

This Brand New, DS, New Old Stock pair is literally flawless. They’ve never even been tried-on (much less worn); and have been kept in climate-controlled smoke-free settings since they were originally purchased in 2023. These shoes are dripping with hints & cues to TSU (and a few nods toward Slim & Husky’s) such as: the Red & Blue school colors, the tiger-print overlay (of course, they’re the TSU tigers), gold “1912” symbolizing their inaugural year, “Get Geek’d” on the backs of the tongues (part of their rally cry), “the boys” in blue & “tigerbelles” in red on the gold-capped laces of the shoes (tigerbelles refers to the female athletes at TSU-particularly the women’s track & field program which has been dominant since the 1960’s), and the TSU “T” on the back of each heel; the Slim & Husky’s logo printed on the insole, and “Slim” above the swoosh on the right tongue & “Husky” above the swoosh on the left tongue.

Nike used the Terminator shoe to produce a collaborative collection of historically-HBCU colleges, as the first-gen Terminator was first released in 1985 to commemorate Georgetown after their 1984 NCAA basketball title. Using design elements from the Dunk and Air Jordan 1, the Terminator was born, and remains alive & well!

The TSU Terminator fetches some of the highest selling prices of any of the 40-plus Terminator low & high-top releases!

These were released in November of 2023 with an original retail price of $150; as fewer were produced - yet they became cult-like popular thanks to their unique & eye-catching stylistic features… all on an iconic Terminator shoe platform - they’ve skyrocketed in sales prices on the secondary market… when you can find them!
