Before Nike Flyknit, there was FILA Outdoor. In 1998, the Boulder, CO team pushed boundaries with the Switchback Synthetic, part of a computer-aided design collection engineered for SkyMarathon racers and competitive trail runners. This was high-performance footwear ahead of its time—light, seamless, and race-ready.
