This is a Showa-era retro acrylic knit vest, handmade at home in the 1960s–70s.

It is knitted with light and soft acrylic yarn, and the simple stitch patterns and colors give a warm feeling.

It also features a unique design without buttonholes. (Buttons are inserted and fastened into the knitted fabric.)

The careful finish unique to handmade items gives it a special quality—no two pieces are the same.

It is attractive not only as a vintage or Showa retro collectible, but also as a display item, interior decoration, or photography prop.
