My friend invested in this to test it out before he upgraded to the similar TOM FORD (see reference). Having seen both head-to-head this is jaw-droppingly good. Honestly I’d put the quality up near the TF, which was four times the price!

A good suede field jacket is one of the best time-tested essentials in your entire wardrobe – my favorite TOM FORD made them a cornerstone of all his collections. The field jacket is inherently masculine, has stood the test of time and every top designer has taken their shot at it! It’s an extremely flattering fitted silhouette on any man. This ideal version from Belstaff makes you instantly sexy and badass – trust me, women will take notice!

I’ve owned just about every elite version out there including Cucinelli, Loro Piana and Tom Ford, and have always been extremely impressed with Belstaff’s quality, fit and details. Everywhere you look on this incredible piece are their epic hardware and zips, metal branded press studs, metal hang chain, intricate stitching and their stunning accent details throughout.

I’ve seen so many people wearing cheap-to-mid-range leather jackets that might look good from a distance, but fall apart up close. The best jackets just get better the closer you get and the details really come alive. It makes such a huge difference to your confidence, your overall demeanor and the attention/respect you attract. An investment like this is definitely worth the money and will continue to just get better with age.

Belstaff is a heritage British motorcycle brand with the pedigree, quality and authenticity (Steve McQueen, Daniel Craig, Ewan MacGregor, George Clooney, David Beckham and many more were/are fans) that perfectly made the leap to the modern era of fits and styles for men and women (David Beckham did a capsule collection with them along with a great brand campaign video if you can find it online).

Selling this for my friend and as usual it’s very tempting (it’s also an ideal fit off the rack), but I’m out of room after my fiance and her daughter moved in.
