ABOUT THE CAPRIOLO – LIGHTWEIGHT WALKING BOOT
Inspired by the classic men’s approach shoe, the Capriolo is the ideal lightweight walking boot. Low profile thanks to a soft but strong Italian suede, high breathability and waterproofing with a full Sympatex® H2Out membrane and a Vibram Friction® outsole offering traction you can trust.
While lightweight and low profile, the Capriolo is made with quality in mind. With 30 year’s experience in artisanal boot making, the Capriolo is still very much a Calzaturificio Diemme country boot, bringing with it the quality and durability in which our boots are known for.
The Cabriolo is a lightweight walking boot that offers the protection, comfort and functionality of a classic hiking boot. The highly flexible Vibram® Friction outsole paired with an impact absorbing micro midsole provide ground feel while maintaining high levels of grip and wear resistance. Paired with the dynamic breathability and waterproofing of a Sympatex® membrane, the Capriolo makes for a truly versatile hiking boot ready for any weather conditions. This will keep you dry while ensuring you’re kept cool and comfortable, in the style of a men’s approach shoe.
Combined with a tough rubber toecap for protection, a ventilated leather lined memory foam footbed and an extended super secure toe to ankle lacing system. You’re set for a long day in the country in comfort and support.
With the warmer months comes its own set of unique requirements for a country boot. The classic leather clad of some of our other Calzaturificio Diemme boots are designed for use in some of Europe’s toughest conditions through boggy moors and mountains. The Spring, Summer and Autumn often requires a lightweight walking boot, a more breathable and easy wearing option as the temperatures soar. A place in which the Capriolo comes into its own.
FITTING
Thanks to an extended lacing pattern which laces all the way down to your toe. The Capriolo is very versatile in its width adjustment. When you first fit your Capriolos, make sure to fully loosen off your laces all the way down to the toe. This will allow the width to settle to the shape of your foot for the perfect fit.

These are an excellent pair of Italian made Light hiking boots. I have had these for just over a year and they are a great pair of boots. They are in a pretty good condition, used but not too bad. No rips, holes or tears in them and they are a goretex waterproof breathable boot which are indeed, waterproof. The soles are hardly worn and all in all the boots have many years of life left in them. They are not new but when you put them on they instantly become your boots and a pair of boots you have been happily wearing for months. Who's to know. That is the best thing about pre worn gear, you can often get it for less than half price and it already looks great when you start wearing it and nobody knows you haven't had them from new.
They are a UK size 12 , EU size 47 and fit true to size.
