Produced in August 1964 to commemorate the Tokyo Summer Olympics, the Seiko World Time is a landmark in Japanese horology. Designed for international travelers, this model features a rotating city bezel and 24-hour inner disc—allowing effortless global time tracking in a sophisticated and innovative design.

Case Size: 37.5mm stainless steel case with sharp lugs and clean lines—classic proportions that wear beautifully on the wrist.

World Time Function: Rotating city bezel and inner 24-hour disc make it easy to monitor multiple time zones at once.

Dial Design: Elegant linen-textured dial with silver hour and minute hands and a contrasting black GMT hand for excellent legibility. Subtle date display at the 3 o’clock position.

Caseback: Features the Olympic torch engraving—a rare and meaningful detail connecting the watch directly to the 1964 Tokyo Summer Games. The caseback remains in pristine condition, which is uncommon for this model.

Bracelet: Fitted with a period-correct Stelux all-stainless steel bracelet that features Seiko branding on the clasp, complementing the watch’s original vintage appeal.

Condition:

Glass & Case: Crystal is clean and clear. The case shows minimal wear and retains its original sharp lines. The Olympic torch caseback is in excellent, near-mint condition.

Originality: All components are original except for the bracelet. The Stelux bracelet is period-correct with Seiko branding on the clasp and is in great shape.

Running Condition: Recently checked, the watch runs strong and keeps accurate time.
