Yohji Yamamoto 2024-25 Autumn Winter Collection.
Jacket made from triacetate polyester tuxedo fabric, now a staple material for Yohji Yamamoto.
The fabric is known for its luster and drapability.
This season's collection includes several variations with detachable collars, allowing the jacket to be worn as a collarless piece.
The tunic length pairs well with various pants.

【TEXTILE】
Triacetate/polyester - also known as tuxedo fabric (de Chine)
The staple textile during the SS season, with as many products launched as wool gabardine.
A must-have for those who want to stay stylish even in the middle of summer!

Tuxedo fabric is a common name given by Yohji Co., Ltd., more accurately, it is de Chine fabric.
de Chine is densely woven using sweetly and strongly twisted threads and is characterized by a finely textured surface.
The weave structure is different from wool gabardine. (Wrinkle gabarle is twill weave, de Chine is plain weave)
Therefore, the surface of decene is smoother and thinner than GABA, and it also feels smoother.
Dechine fabric has higher instantaneous strength and agility, so it also has the characteristics of more dynamic movement.
When the material moves, air flows more easily and it doesn't become sticky even if you sweat.

In the summer, de Chine seems more comfortable
Both have textured surfaces and relatively easy-to-move materials.
Although there is a slight difference in gloss, it is within the acceptable range if considered as "the depth and variation of black expression".
