A foundational silhouette from the FFFPOSTALSERVICE Fall/Winter 2022 “Departure Into The Void” collection. The Round Hem hoodie became one of the Seoul label’s signature forms, defined by its distinctive curved, fabric-covered zipper & futuristic, utilitarian interpretation. Rendered in the understated “Black Damage” colourway, the piece captures Jonathan Choe’s design approach to imagined uniformity: familiar civilian clothing transformed through a sci-fi lens. The proportional construction, tonal finish & engineered zipper give this deceptively simple hoodie almost dystopian characteristics.

Provenance: FFFPOSTALSERVICE was founded in Los Angeles in 2020 by Jonathan Choe before taking shape in Seoul circa 2023. The label draws upon inspiration from the intersectionality of archival fashion, techwear, gorpcore, military & science fiction. The interior reveals the brand’s narrative label: “Future Family Friends Postal Service / A Never Ending Sci-Fi Motion Picture / Directed By Jonathan Choe”. The FW’22 Round Hem hoodie is a flagship signature of Choe’s envisioned “sci-fashion” multiverse & was debuted via sequential drops beginning in September 2022.
