Inspired by the billions of banana stalks discarded after harvest each year, the knit blends fibers derived from reclaimed banana stalks with recycled yarns, giving new life to a material that would otherwise be thrown away.

The concept extends beyond the fabric itself. Using advanced knitting techniques, doublet subtly curves the sleeves and body to echo the natural silhouette of a hanging banana—an understated detail that rewards a closer look. Finished in a vivid yellow-and-black abstract jacquard with embroidered logo patches, the piece balances humor, sustainability, and exceptional Japanese craftsmanship in true Doublet fashion.
