An archival vegetable-tanned cowhide "J6" leather jacket from Boris Bidjan Saberi’s mainline Fall/Winter 2012 "GLACIERISM" collection, fusing raw leather materiality with architectural armor patternmaking.

A definitive outerwear piece from the F/W 2012 Paris runway, marking the peak of Boris Bidjan Saberi’s golden era. Departing from lighter calfskin or kangaroo leathers, it is cut from a substantial, heavy vegetable-tanned cowhide, boasting a bold, rugged grain and deep tonal shading across the entire surface. It embodies his foundational "second skin" philosophy, engineered to mold and crease deeply to the wearer's anatomy and movement over time.

Unlike the straight-zip models (J1–J3), the J6 features an overlapping shield construction reminiscent of shifting glacial faults across the chest and throat. Fastened completely, the asymmetrical zip forms a rigid high-neck collar resembling protective armor; unbuttoned and parted wide, the upper flaps reveal the raw suede reverse on the left lapel and an exposed horizontal chest zip, converting the silhouette into a dramatic, sculptural wide-lapel jacket.

The rear patterning and sleeve engineering are equally exceptional.
