Seller Description
Vintage U.S. military parka-overcoat in olive drab cotton, late 1940s–1950s. Knee-length and hooded, with a zip under a buttoned storm flap, four flapped pockets, and buttons inside the front for a hooded pile liner. The only label is the size tab, so I've identified it by its design. It's most likely the U.S. Army 'Overcoat, Parka Type' that collectors call the M-1947 parka (Korean War era). From my grandfather's collection.
Tagged size S. The sleeves have been torn off at the shoulders, so it wears like a long vest.
Condition: worn. Sleeves torn off at the shoulders. Heavily stained. One button is missing from a pocket flap and two from the storm flap. The zipper is there.
The matching pile liners (listed separately in my shop) button into it. I'm selling them separately, and they're not included here.
