— "KODENSHI® technology, employed by nanamica, integrates micron-sized ceramic particles with high far-infrared emissivity directly into polyester or nylon polymer matrices during fiber extrusion.

These ceramics, primarily alumina and zirconia compounds, absorb and re-emit the wearer’s body heat as far-infrared radiation (FIR, 4–14 μm range), which penetrates subcutaneous tissue and enhances microcirculation efficiency.

Unlike surface coatings, the particles are molecularly embedded, ensuring long-term stability, wash resistance, and consistent emissive performance.

Thermal imaging and emissivity tests demonstrate improved energy retention and localized warming without increasing overall fabric weight or air permeability.

This fusion of infrared thermophysics and textile polymer engineering yields garments that deliver measurable thermoregulation while maintaining nanamica’s minimalist, functional aesthetic." —
