Prada Fall/Winter 2016 platform hiking boots.

An exceptionally distinctive pair from one of Prada’s most memorable footwear collections of the 2010s. The Fall/Winter 2016 runway featured an eclectic range of heavy lace-up boots, exaggerated platform soles and bold hardware, combining utilitarian hiking references with Miuccia Prada’s highly individual approach to color and construction.

This particular version stands out through its dark brown leather upper, contrasting muted teal rubber toe caps and substantial sculpted lug soles. Gold-tone eyelets, buckles and decorative metal plates add an almost industrial finish, while the oversized platform gives the boots an unmistakable silhouette.
