2016 NEIGHBORHOOD 1ST PATTERN NAVY TANKERS-D / C-JKT BOMBER JACKET

Neighborhood was established in Harajuku, Tokyo in 1994 by Shinsuke Takizawa, emerging as a foundational pillar of the Ura-Harajuku streetwear movement alongside brands like Undercover and WTAPS. This particular garment is the 'Tankers-D / C-JKT', a civilian reinterpretation of the classic WWII US Army Winter Combat Jacket known as the tanker jacket. Featuring a heavy-duty indigo-dyed cotton shell with Universal hardware and rib-knit trim, the piece demonstrates the brand's signature obsession with vintage military and Americana aesthetics. Produced for the Spring/Summer 2016 collection as confirmed by the internal 161 product code.
