CDfactory, built with "Technology by Human Code," was a proprietary mid-1990s multimedia authoring suite developed by Austin-based interactive studio Human Code, Inc. Designed to streamline the CD-ROM development boom, the software allowed creators and graphic designers to build interactive titles, educational products, and games without low-level programming. Commercial titles powered by the CDfactory engine included a bundled runtime called CDplayer, copyright and licensing notices stating "Technology by Human Code"
