item. To reproduce the worn-in size characteristic of vintage MA-1s, the width is made larger and the length shorter. The distinctive A-side uses velour material while maintaining the MA-1 design, and the B-side utilizes the MA-1 lining while adding handwarmer pockets to the sides, making it possible to wear both sides. A flight jacket, a military work garment, and a Yokosuka jacket, a civilian souvenir garment. This item is themed as "ON & OFF," allowing you to enjoy two contrasting elements in one garment.

A-side (velvet)
- Uses Shankar velvet sulfur-dyed short-pile dobby weave velvet made with a cotton blend.
- By cutting the pile so finely that the ribbed structure like corduroy is not visible, it is finished as a flat fabric covered with nap with a subtle sheen and luster.
- Due to the cutting process, the fabric feels thicker than its apparent yarn count.
- This material is rare because it takes more time and effort to cut than corduroy. Its
unique rough color and drape due to sulfur dyeing, as well as its aging process, are also appealing. The fine weave of the fabric makes it easy to express deep colors.
- The presence of the fabric is enhanced by weaving the weft threads to the maximum extent possible.

B-side (nylon)

- Fabric washing and softening finish reduce the stiffness and body characteristic of nylon twill, resulting in a smooth and soft texture.

Condition - worn only a handful of times. Amazing overall condition as you can see from the pictures.

Size - tagged size XL (largest size made). I typically wear a US L for a slightly oversized fit in most tops, and I am happy I sized up to XL here for the extra body length. I think it would work fine for someone who regularly wears XL too. Be sure to check out the measurements for reference!
