Original 1984 US Surplus Army Extreme Cold Weather boots Type I “Mickey Mouse”, manufactured by Bata.
Condition: Never worn and preserved in excellent vintage condition.
Tagged Size: 5R US / EU 39.
Fit: Take one size down from your normal size. Due to the heavy insulation, they fit closer to a US 6 / 40 EU with regular or thin socks.
Specs: Made entirely of heavy-duty rubber with an insulated air-barrier construction and wool/felt insulation. Fully waterproof and designed specifically for snow, ice and extreme cold-weather conditions, rated for temperatures down to approximately −20 °F / −29 °C.
The integrated air valve helps equalise internal pressure during air travel and should remain closed during normal use.
A genuine surplus archive piece, defined by the iconic oversized silhouette that made its name a staple.
