Seller Description
Red and light beige gradient plastic frames catch the light in shifting tones,
their oversized shape flaring softly at the brow. Each temple is anchored by a
gold-tone metal “4G” logo plaque—a detail that first appeared on Givenchy
eyewear in the late 1970s, the era from which these originate. The lenses transition from
deep red to a pale beige, echoing the frame’s two-tone design.
Fine gold lines border the logo and run along the temples, set against the matte
plastic. The finish is clean, with only minor surface wear on the arms; the hinges
move smoothly, and the logo embossing remains crisp. Made in France during
Hubert de Givenchy’s tenure, these sunglasses channel the maison’s late-1970s
taste for bold geometry and graphic hardware, here rendered in a palette that
avoids nostalgia in favor of a sharper aesthetic.
