2014 COMME DES GARÇONS FUMITO GANRYU BLEACHING 'INFORMATION IS NOT KNOWLEDGE' JACKET

Designed by Fumito Ganryu during his tenure under the Comme des Garçons umbrella, this piece exemplifies the label's signature fusion of workwear functionality and avant-garde streetwear. Produced for the 2014 collection, the garment features a cosmic bleach-splatter treatment over structured cotton canvas with contrast stitching and oversized utility flap pockets. The reverse is screen-printed with the notable Frank Zappa aphorism, 'Information is not knowledge.' Since the discontinuation of the original Ganryu line in 2017, these runway-era garments have become increasingly collectible among Japanese archival fashion enthusiasts.
