There's a lot of handwork details such as lapel stitching, button holes, armholes and inner linings. It costs a lot more and takes many more hours to do these handwork finishing compared to machine-work, so these handwork details are typically only reserved for the highest-end Italian suits. It typically takes 30-45 hours to complete an Italian hand-made suit.
