L Zip Leather Jacket. (Sliver Zip Ver)

As some of you may know, Stud Homme is a Korean brand that produced its archive pieces around 2007–2009, making it one of the most famous archive-inspired brands.

The piece above is not a Stud Homme item, but it is from Luster, one of the Korean brands that released various archive pieces alongside Stud Homme at the time. Back then, there were several Korean brands such as Stud Homme, Museroom, Luster, and S-Pin Homme.

I’m Korean, and I purchased this jacket directly from Luster for around $350 when it was originally released, around 2007. In other words, this isn’t a piece that has passed through the hands of one owner after another.

The outer material is lambskin, while the lining is made of polyester. If you look at the photo of the inner tag, although it is written in Korean, you should be able to quickly find information about the materials by simply Googling the terms.

Although this lambskin jacket is nearly 20 years old, it has been kept in relatively good condition, especially for an archive piece. I’ve taken good care of it over the years, applying leather conditioner every winter to keep the leather in the best possible condition.

That said, given its age and history of use, there are some minor signs of wear that become noticeable upon closer inspection. Personally, I wouldn’t consider them significant flaws, but please refer to the photos and judge the condition for yourself before purchasing.

One other thing worth noting is that the hardware piece attached to the L-shaped zipper, which is arguably one of the jacket’s signature details, is missing. I’ve taken this into account when pricing the jacket, which is listed considerably lower than comparable pieces.

As many archive enthusiasts will know, finding pieces like this in larger sizes is exceptionally difficult. These jackets were produced in limited quantities to begin with, and demand for larger sizes was relatively low at the time, making them even harder to come by today.
