In 1992 Parisian designer Christophe Lemaire launched his eponymous label. Lauded for his minimalist designs and endless consistency, the designer was eventually forced to put the label on hiatus as he stepped in to oversee womenswear collections for Hermès, filling the vacancy left by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Thankfully, the designer re-launched the line, now rebranded as simply Lemaire—a reflection of his co-designer and partner Sarah-Linh Tran.

Lemaire's timeless designs are the by-product of utilitarian notions and clever construction. The parka—from the rebranded "Lemaire" era—is quietly elegant, a quintessential Lemaire detail. The jacket features oversized, buttoned flap pockets, a fully removable quilted lining, relaxed fit, and a hidden button placket.
