Here is available for purchase an A.F. Vandevorst Deconstructed 2-in-1 Detachable Floor Length Coat

Amazing 2-in-1 coat made of a heavy and thick boiled wool blend / inside light wool blend body. From A.F.'s 3rd collection, this epic floor-length cut coat perfectly embodies the design approach of the collection: making detachable refined garments. Here, we find a coat where its sleeves can be separated from the body thanks to inside side snap buttons and an inside central neck button. We have a standard chesterfield construction, characterized by a chest pocket, 2 front flap pockets, a hidden placket front buttoned side closure system and a large back vent. The sleeves, which are made of this same wool blend as the exterior body, are directly linked to a lighter wool-blend interior body which can be worn on its own without the exterior part, like a sort of opened coat liner-esque. Once detached, the main body part can also be worn as a sleeveless floor length coat. At the end, once separated, you have 2 different garments, with 2 different fonctions, that can both be worn in 2 different ways; therefore emphasizing well the conceptual utilitarian approach of this collection. Iconic red cross logo stitched on the back neck of both pieces. As worn on the show in a white version. Among A.F. greatest pieces I have ever seen personally. A truly heavyweight heat from the early days of the Antwerp duo. A versatile rarity, part of my favourite pieces curated lately. You most likely won't see this again before a very long time. Strongly recommended.
