Seller Description
This vintage National Park Service ranger uniform jacket is by Uniform Specialists Gregory's of Greeley, Colorado. There is no content tag but I believe it is made of Whipcord Wool with an acetate lining, a medium weight jacket. It is woven in military green with black lining. This jacket has a collar and notched lapel, padded shoulders, a zipper front with a Talon zipper, long sleeves, two breast pockets with snap flaps and decorative buttons, one interior pocket, has a wide ribbed knit insert on each side at the waist and is fully lined. The buttons read "Department of the Interior, National Park Service". It is not marked but fits like a men's size 40 or a Medium. PLEASE CHECK THE MEASUREMENTS.
Shoulders: 17.5", Armpit to Armpit: 21.5", Waist: 18.5", Sleeve Length (from Shoulder): 24.5", Length at the Back: 24.5". All measurements are taken with the garment laying flat and on the outside, double where necessary. This jacket is in EXCELLENT vintage condition, NO HOLES, RIPS, STAINS, SNAGS OR REPAIRS. The sleeves feel like they could be professionally let out 1". Originally I thought this was DEADSTOCK but I found a couple of tiny thread pulls on one collar and above the left pocket, from uniform pins. It comes from a smoke-free and pet friendly home.
