A truly unique piece that was produced in a pair of wool jerseys specifically designed for cold weather riding the special edition is dedicated to Davis Phinney and Connie Carpenter-Finney, an All-American cycling pair whose hundreds of professional victories include national, world and Olympic titles. The Davis Phinney Foundation motto "Every Victory Counts" is printed on the collars, and the zippers feature the medals they won in Los Angeles in 1984.
Rapha worked closely with Davis and Connie, and the jersey design was borrowed from the racing jerseys they wore in competition.A portion of the proceeds from the sale went to charity.
