Cut from faded olive cotton and backed with dense wool, this M-41 field jacket carries the atmosphere of a uniform returned from battle. Introduced in 1941 and worn by American troops throughout the Second World War, it was built for movement, exposure and the hard routine of the field.

Its surface is deeply weathered, with stains—especially across the back and sides—faded areas and years of abrasion along the edges. The original Conmar zipper remains in place. One button is missing, while another survives by only a few threads.

Weathered, scarred and left exactly as it endured.
