A beautifully constructed pair of navy Gurkha shorts from Bryceland's & Co.

Founded in 2015 by Kenji Cheung and Ethan Newton, Bryceland's began in Tokyo and later expanded to Hong Kong and London.

Although still relatively under the radar outside dedicated classic menswear circles, the brand has earned a loyal following for its exceptional attention to proportion, traditional craftsmanship, and timeless approach to clothing.

Drawing inspiration from vintage military garments, classic tailoring, and mid-century menswear, Bryceland's creates clothing with a distinctive character that goes far beyond ordinary reproductions.

These Gurkha shorts are a wonderful example of that philosophy.

Featuring a dramatically high rise, deep front pleats, adjustable side buckle straps, and a generous silhouette, they combine the elegance of traditional tailored trousers with the practicality of military-inspired clothing.

An important note about sizing:

These are designed to be worn very high on the waist, closer to the natural waistline rather than sitting on the hips.

Although the waist measurement may appear relatively small, the unusually deep rise creates a very different fit from conventional shorts. Please consider the intended high-waisted fit when checking the measurements.

Bryceland's has been one of my personal favorite brands for quite some time. I particularly appreciate its thoughtful approach to garment construction, proportions, and the way traditional menswear is interpreted with a contemporary sensibility.
