The monkey boots has been a staple for the brand and this is the first edition of it, it has a unique toe box that only available for YYPH Autumn/ Winter 98 season, featuring a runway appearance from the late Vivienne Westwood. These boots are made of sturdy two layered leather upper, using a thick Horween Horse leather outer for durability and a soft calfskin inner for comfort that could last a lifetime, features a chunky rubber sole and fully leather insole. Traditional Goodyear-welting methods on a square toe. These boots are in great condition.

A lesser version of these rare boots are currently released via Yohji Yamamoto’s ‘Regulation’ line for over $950 usd in a cheaper nubuck variation with less lasting construction methods and materials used on the welting and midsole.
