The domed fruit is set with deep ruby red round rhinestones that continue all the way around the sides, so the piece reads fully set from any angle rather than only from the front. Faceted green marquise leaves and a small bud branch off the stem below.

The setting is japanned, the black lacquer finish Schreiner used to make color read hot against dark metal. All stones are present. There is light wear to the japanning at a few prong tips, consistent with age and shown in the close-up photos.
