Italian brand Mavranyma was founded in 2012 by the designer ELIA FRANCINELLA. The name comes from two words: Greek mavros - "black" and Latin anima - "soul." The basis of the brand's DNA is a gloomy, ponderous aesthetic balanced by clean cut lines and a bare minimum of decorative elements. Restrained, but with the character of the Mavranyma collection - Italian avant-garde in its most laconic manifestation.

Not an accumulation but a symphony of rips: a way of working with splits and tears as if they were nooks of burning matter, flickering in threads through tiny cracks soaked in the earthy seat of the skeleton, if earth is the solid part of man. Patient work of torn frenzy, craft of tailors where the needle becomes the sewing machine, illuminating devastation. Gouging magma or bulbs out of every cut, Mavranyma investigates the very life of matter, and its verdant folds.
