Produced under the Handlevel line by Bitchu Kurashiki Kobo Eternal, this jacket exemplifies Okayama's esteemed textile heritage. The Kurashiki-based manufacturer Maeno is renowned for traditional indigo dyeing and artisanal Japanese construction techniques. Featuring an elaborate Japanese dragon rendered in traditional resist-dye batik aesthetics, the exterior is secured with decorative sashiko-style grid quilting. Pieces from this experimental sub-label were produced in limited batches during the 2000s, making well-preserved examples highly sought after by collectors of Japanese heritage streetwear.
