- Warp Thread (Vertical): Pre-dyed, high-twist Finx Cotton—an ultra-long-staple Egyptian cotton renowned for its high fiber strength, silk-like luster, and lack of impurities.

- Weft Thread (Horizontal): Zimbabwe Cotton uneven slub yarn. The natural irregularities in the Zimbabwe cotton generate a distinct, rugged horizontal texture when woven.

- Weave Construction: High-density Buggy Satin. The fabric is tightly packed and heavily beaten during the weaving process to maximize structural durability while ensuring a heavy drape.

Finish & Processing :

- Core-White Dyeing (Chubaku-zome): The yarn is dyed so that the core remains white. This creates a subtle, uneven contrast and depth in color over time.

- Emerizing (起毛): The surface of the high-density satin is lightly brushed to create a soft, peach-skin nap texture.

- Mechanical Wash Processing (Momi-arai): After brushing, the fabric undergoes a repeated, violent "beating and hand-washing" cycle. This breaks down the initial stiffness of the dense satin weave, yielding a heavily broken-in, "slimy" smooth hand feel (numari) and a matte, vintage luster." —
