John Varvatos lightweight textured knit sweater in a beautiful faded blue/charcoal colorway. Originally retailed for $298. One of the more interesting Varvatos knits, exceptionally lightweight and soft, made from a premium blend of cotton, silk and linen that gives it a fluid, almost weightless feel. The fabric is the standout: irregular horizontal stripes are knitted directly into the garment with raised, slightly distressed/slubbed sections that create dimension and texture throughout. The combination of deep blue, charcoal and subtle tonal variation gives it that signature lived in John Varvatos look. Finished with a wide scoop/crew neckline, long slim sleeves, subtly rolled/unfinished style edges and an easy, slightly elongated silhouette. Thin enough to layer beautifully under a leather jacket but interesting enough to wear on its own.
