For his Autumn/Winter 2016 collection titled "Nightmares and Dreams," Raf Simons marked two major milestones: the 20th anniversary of his eponymous label and his triumphant return to independent menswear following his departure from Christian Dior. Staged inside a claustrophobic wooden maze to the haunting, atmospheric sounds of Angelo Badalamenti’s Twin Peaks score, the runway felt deeply psychological, eerie, and intensely personal.
