Extremely rare Ruffo leather jacket. The jacket features a distinctive dark brown-black leather body, extensive curved panel construction, ribbed collar and cuffs, adjustable gathered hem, central zip closure and multiple angled front pockets, including a zipped pocket. The aged leather surface has developed a naturally worn and patinated appearance throughout, adding to its vintage character. Ruffo Research was an experimental project by the Italian leather specialist Ruffo, created as a platform for emerging designers to experiment with leather, and Raf’s collections are particularly associated with the early avant-garde aesthetic of his own 1999 work.
