Up for sale is my Diamond Sportswear Co. Buco J-100 repro in black Shinki teacore horsehide - TAGGED A SIZE 40.

This is a really great repro of the iconic Buco J-100 Cafe Racer made by Diamond Sportswear Co. (Dave Sheeley), a maker that was active about 5-10 years ago known for high end repros, especially using Shinki Leather.

I have owned jackets from all of the high end Japanese makers and more, and this jacket is very much on par with them. It’s a great value, especially for Shinki.

The Shinki black teacore horsehide is really exceptional and is showing incredible texture and areas of the brown teacore coming through in the high contact areas.

Many great details throughout such as the period correct labels and Waldes zippers.

CONDITION

In good condition overall, there is a fair amount of wear throughout that would be expected with normal use such as markings, scuffs, and creases. There are areas of the teacore coming through in the expected contact areas. All the right kinds of wear on this one, but wear none the less. All zippers work well.

Stored with care in a non-smoking, pet free home.
