2000s LEMAIRE Archive
Multi-Pocket Shirt
A multi-pocket shirt from LEMAIRE, dating back to around 2006–2007.
This is a highly rare archival piece from the early days when Christophe Lemaire relaunched his eponymous brand following a hiatus.
Featuring a khaki body, this shirt incorporates practical details reminiscent of military and workwear—such as a stand collar, large front patch pockets, chest detailing, and buttoned cuffs.
Particularly striking is the elongated length—unusual for a shirt—and the gently rounded hem.
While the shoulder construction is relatively streamlined, the silhouette drapes naturally from the chest down to the hem. It works perfectly worn buttoned up on its own, or layered over a T-shirt or lightweight knit as a light outer garment.
The fabric is a blend of cotton and linen; the addition of linen to the easy-care cotton creates an appealing, airy texture.
It embodies the fusion of functionality and elegance that defines LEMAIRE today, while offering the rugged, authentic character typical of the brand's early products.
Given its origins in the 2006–2007 relaunch period, this is a highly compelling archival piece.
