Genuine first-generation original (produced 2005/2006), style code 310641-001, made in Korea. Not the 2014 retro. Original label intact and pictured for authentication.
A cult 2000s design by Nike and industrial designer Marc Newson, inspired by cosmonaut footwear: modular four-part build (perforated outer cage, interlocking outsole, mesh sleeve, insole), assembled without glue.
As much design object as shoe. Newson contributed to the Apple Watch and now co-leads LoveFrom, the studio behind Ferrari's first electric car.
