An exceptional piece of Japanese fashion history. This turtleneck knit comes from the highly sought-after AD1991 collection, designed by Rei Kawakubo. While robe de chambre was technically a womenswear line, the avant-garde aesthetic and silhouettes from this era are celebrated as genderless/unisex by collectors worldwide.
The piece features a stunning acid wash/bleached treatment over a deep navy base, creating a raw, industrial, and "distressed" look that perfectly encapsulates the early 90s CDG anti-fashion movement.
