Seller Description
This is an original vintage 1960s New York Yankees hat believed to be owned by former player Harry Bright. Found in a sports memorabilia storage locker, this item has a name tag on inner head liner with Harry Bright’s name and dates back to the time period in which he played for the New York Yankees (1963-1964). This item is in worn condition with inner head liner starting to break apart. Wool itself in good condition with no apparent holes/tears. This item is best fit for smaller sized adult heads, if it were to be worn.
Harry Bright was a first/third baseman for the New York Yankees from 1963-1964. He was famously the 15th and final strikeout of Sandy Koufax’s Game 1 start in the 1963 World Series, giving Koufax the then-record for most strikeouts in a World Series game.
