This sweater is not Needles, but it resembles the laudable mohair sweaters from the brand. I have owned one of their mohair cardigans before, and the quality is very similar.

The sweater is tagged “A Kandahar Deluxe” and underneath “Lance F. Fredericks.” Although the inner tags are missing, the dramatic nap of the fabric looks and feels like mohair — perhaps a wool blend. The subtle, diamond design references 1960s psychedelia. The fabric is grey with a hint of purple and was made in the United States.
