Saint Laurent Paris Silver Sample Faux Leather Pants from FW2015

Designed by Hedi Slimane as part of his FW2015 runway story, this unreleased sample distills the era’s glam-rock attitude into a razor-sharp five-pocket jeans. They feature smooth faux leather with a lustrous metallic-silver foil coating as a material, subtle grain gives the surface a convincing leather texture while remaining lightweight and pliable. Mid-rise, Slimane’s trademark second-skin cut through the thigh and calf with a tapering to a narrow opening, fully lined waistband and tonal silver top-stitching throughout. There were other garments in the same laminated fabric showcased on the runway as well as the same faux leather pants but in the strict black color. Black debossed leather waist label, absence of retail tagging, and slight pattern-maker markings confirm its prototype status — produced in minute quantities for showroom use. This silver variant never made it to full production, placing it firmly in collector territory. An impossibly rare slice of Slimane-era Saint Laurent: equal parts space-age glam and Parisian rock-chic, ready to electrify everything from shredded band tees to tailored evening jackets.
