One of the most insane and genuinely rare accessories from the Fall/Winter 2017 collection. This is the large tiger version of the iconic plush animal backpacks that turned the collection into one of the most memorable and immediately recognizable moments of the era. The FW17 collection deliberately blurred the line between luxury fashion and youthful, almost surreal pop-culture imagery, with oversized animal pieces appearing throughout the runway presentation. Contemporary coverage specifically highlighted the stuffed-animal backpacks as part of the collection's playful direction, while the animal backpacks were later released for around ¥129,000 / approximately $1,195.

The tiger is particularly special. While the leopard and other animal variations occasionally surface on the archival market, the full-size tiger is exceptionally difficult to find. I was unable to locate another full-size tiger example currently offered for sale beyond the two pieces I own. The current market evidence makes this an extremely uncommon opportunity to acquire one of these in untouched condition.

The proportions are huge and deliberately theatrical: a complete plush tiger with its sculptural head, padded limbs and long striped tail, transforming the backpack into something that looks more like an oversized collectible than a conventional fashion accessory.
