RARE VINTAGE ADIDAS JOGGING HIGH II – MADE IN SLOVENIA – WHITE/NAVY – ORIGINAL TREFOIL – US 6 / GB 5½ / FR 38 2/3

Rare vintage pair of Adidas Jogging High II high-top sneakers, manufactured in Slovenia, in the classic white and dark navy colorway.

The Jogging High is a genuine old-school Adidas design dating back to the 1980s. Period references place the original Jogging High/Jogging High II silhouette in the 1980s, and surviving original European-made examples have become increasingly difficult to find today. (adi-files.com⁠)

This particular pair is especially interesting because the original interior size label clearly states “MADE IN SLOVENIA.” Slovenia-made vintage Jogging High examples are considerably less commonly encountered than modern Adidas footwear, and comparable vintage Slovenia-made pairs are now offered as collectible/rare Adidas pieces. Beautiful classic Adidas construction featuring a white high-top upper, contrasting dark navy three stripes, navy heel detailing, padded ankle area, white laces and the unmistakable vintage Adidas Trefoil tongue labels.

Both sides feature the “JOGGING HIGH II” marking.

One of the most distinctive features of this model is the vintage sole/midsole design with the red and white circular cushioning elements along the heel area. This unusual feature is strongly associated with the Jogging High II and gives the shoes their unmistakable 1980s Adidas appearance. The black rubber outsoles retain the classic raised stud/nub tread pattern, with the red Adidas Trefoil insert/logo visible underneath.

The interiors retain the vintage Adidas branding, including the classic “DIE MARKE MIT DEN 3 STREIFEN / THE BRAND WITH THE 3 STRIPES / LA MARQUE AUX 3 BANDES” markings.

CONDITION:
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear. There is visible discoloration/patina around the padded ankle and suede-like collar areas, some yellowing/aging to the midsoles, light marks/scuffs to the white uppers, and normal wear to the soles and tread. The tongue labels and interior markings also show age and wear. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they show the actual condition of this exact pair and form an important part of the description.

Considering their age, these still present as a very attractive example of an increasingly hard-to-find vintage Adidas high-top.

Because these are genuinely old vintage footwear, no guarantee can be made regarding future wearability or the longevity of the original materials, adhesives, cushioning or soles. Vintage shoes can deteriorate with age even when they currently appear intact. They may therefore be best suited to an Adidas collector, vintage sneaker collection, display, archive, styling/wardrobe use, or someone experienced with vintage footwear.

These are not a modern reproduction or current retro release — the labels and construction shown in the photographs identify this pair as an older Made in Slovenia example.

A fantastic piece of old-school Adidas history and a difficult model to come across today, particularly in this configuration, size and surviving condition.
