Early production run of the Paris Moon hoodie featuring the original resin-treated / glazed fleece finish. This version has a much heavier wash, deeper distressing, and visible surface treatment that creates intentional clouding, sheen variation, and burnished wear throughout — especially across the back panel.

Later runs of this hoodie were produced with a flatter, untreated fleece for a cleaner and more commercial appearance. This piece predates that simplification and reflects the full Demna-era execution, where texture, unevenness, and “dirty” industrial finishes were deliberate design choices rather than avoided.

This is not wear-related and not a wash effect — the finish is factory-applied and inherent to the garment. In hand, the hoodie has substantial weight and depth; the surface reads complex and dimensional rather than flat black.

For buyers familiar with Balenciaga production runs: this is the more aggressive, less diluted version that does not appear in later releases.
