First off, I want to make clear Im not some sort of Nazi fetishist... I just bought it at an estate sale cause I thought it was cool, it was only until like 4 minutes ago that I realized this is from Nazi era German Army. To be fair, this backpack style origin in World War 1 so thus its less specifically Nazi. This is the the German Army M34 tornister, a tornister is essentially another word for backpack. You can also wear this like a messenger thanks to the strap.

The outer flap is outfitted with fur that is either a cow hide or pony hair type deal, but Im quite bad at ID'ing furs. The fact that its German does make me think it was horse tho... I have another fur backpack of Swiss origin up for sale, but the fur on this one is in much better condition.

Their is no branding or info other than a very faded stamp on the inside of the canvas interior. I can only make out that it says "Ostrava", which is a town in current day Czechia (Czech Republic) that was occupied by the Germans under the admin of the truly horrible Herman Gorring, which lasted from 1939 to 1945 when it was liberated by Russian's Red Army, though ultimately Russia's efforts in the country werent all good long term. Anywayyyyyys, that would make this bag from some time around this period.

Laying flat on its back, the fur front panel measures about 15.5 inches tall and 11.5 inches wide. Items is used and has signs of wear, but is in overall good condition for its age.
