Up for sale is a W&LT Top in Blue/White/Red and Large.
From 1993, at the launch of the WILD AND LETHAL TRASH label. It's from the first collection.
From just before the W&LT tag would switch over the blue tag most people are familiar with. The original W&LT tag with the stripes. I've seen a couple of the regular white tees before, but not this one I don't think I've seen.
Graphic design done by longtime collaborator of Walter's whose name escapes me.
Features a model on the front from the same collection. Was shot by Ronald Stoops and makeup done by Inge Grognard.
This frenetic text coupled with collage-like graphics would persist throughout the label's collections. Spring Summer 1997 comes to mind, but there's other examples as well.
They even decided to use that same photo/model for the Spring 1994 collection.
Fits pretty oversized for the most part. The sleeves are short so they don't bunch up at the wrist.
Has some color bleeding, but it's minor and hardly noticeable.
