Superrradical was founded by Tyler Grosso in 2015. Grosso is a North Carolina-native who moved to New York City in 2012 to work as an assistant to the late A$AP Yams. For three years, Grosso worked closely with the A$AP Mob, doing graphic design and assisting A$AP Yams in various projects. After Yams’ passing, Grosso moved on from working with the hip-hop collective to work on Superrradical. The brand was an immediate hit, with collections selling out within minutes of release. Superrradical is best known for its T-shirts but makes hoodies and shorts as well.
