Southpole Men's Leather Jackets
SOUTHPOLE USA is an American streetwear brand founded in New York City by David Khym and Kenny Khym in 1991. Southpole clothing became popular around the turn of the century thanks to their baggy fits and urban aesthetic. The SOUTHPOLE brand story starts in 1981 with the opening of a retail store in Brooklyn, New York, only four years after the brothers Khym and their family immigrated to the US from Korea. After moving the store to Queens, the brothers noticed that their imported baggy clothing became popular, leading them to start SOUTHPOLE. The brand became one of the popular hip-hop brands in the 1990s alongside similar brands like Ecko and FUBU. Although SOUTHPOLE's heydays are behind them, the brand still exists, producing jackets, hoodies, pants and accessories for both men and women.
