Joseph Junior Adenuga Jr., better known as Skepta, is a British rapper, DJ, visual artist and designer. Born in 1982 in London to Nigerian parents, Skepta rose to prominence as one of the most popular UK Grime rappers in the late aughts with the label Boy Better Know, which he founded with his brother JME. His fourth studio album, Konnichiwa, won the Mercury Prize in 2016.

Next to making hits with the likes of ASAP Rocky and others, Skepta also has had a long-lasting career in fashion. Next to being an often lauded style icon, Skepta has been working collaboratively with Nike since 2017. Skepta X Nike has brought forth several iterations of the Air Max 97, as well as Tailwinds, Shox TLs and soccer cleats. Next to his work with the Swoosh, Skepta also has worked with Denim Tears and created his own clothing label called Mains, producing full clothing collections ranging from outerwear to shirting, underwear and accessories.
